400G & 200G AI Networking

MikroTik's 400G-class switches anchor the spine of an AI or data-centre fabric. Below are the SYNOXX 400G QSFP-DD cables and optics — and related 200G/50G breakout — grouped by type and shown with the MikroTik switches they connect.

Direct attach copper (DAC) cables

Breakout cables

400G → 2×200G breakout

✓ Tested compatibility

Splits one 400G port into two 200G QSFP56 links on the CRS812's 200G QSFP56 ports.

400G → 4×100G breakout

✓ Tested compatibility

100G branches use 2×50G PAM4 lanes — matched to the CRS812's QSFP56 ports in 100G mode (not conventional 100G QSFP28 4×25G NRZ ports).

400G → 8×50G breakout

✓ Tested compatibility

Splits one 400G port into eight 50G SFP56 links on the CRS812's 50G SFP56 ports.

Optical transceivers

  • Port counts and supported modes vary by device and RouterOS version — confirm against each device's current MikroTik datasheet.
  • For any breakout, both the source port mode and every destination port must support the same electrical lane configuration.

Compatible with MikroTik — and most well-known vendors

SYNOXX DAC cables and transceivers are coded and tested for broad compatibility across major platforms — MikroTik, NVIDIA (Mellanox), Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Ubiquiti and more. Tell us your devices and the link you’re building, and our team will confirm the right SYNOXX parts.
